At the White House, President Trump says he no longer needs allies to help reopen the Strait of Hormuz,

a key oil shipping lane blocked by Iran since the war.

ABC's Karen Travers has details. He said he is disappointed

in NATO. He is not happy with NATO. He has said this for many years, of course. But now he is saying

specifically that he has asked these countries to come to the U.S. assistance in reopening the

Strait of Hormuz, and they're not saying yes to this request.

He said to a question about whether the U.S. would get out of NATO that he would think about that.

And it's a decision that he could make.

Israeli defense forces say they killed two top Iranian Revolutionary Guard officials overnight in strikes.

President Trump says he is glad the head of the

National Counterterrorism Center has resigned, calling him weak for not supporting the U.S.

war with Iran.
