The Core 4. The four headlines you need to know. Idaho's new anti-abortion law is sparking outrage.

The bill is a six-week abortion ban modeled after the Texas law, but the Idaho bill differs

because it will allow a woman's blood relatives to sue her if she has or attempts to have an abortion.

The law specifically mentions the suit can come from the man who impregnates

her, a grandparent, aunt, uncle, or a sibling of the preborn child. Rape and emergency cases

are excluded from the bill. As I mentioned on the show last week, a study showed that the Texas

law didn't stop women from getting abortions.

They just found other ways to get them. Now, the Idaho law obviously makes it more difficult for a woman

knowing her own family can sue her. As the Russian invasion crawls closer and closer to the

Ukrainian capital of Kiev, President Zelenskyy has introduced legislation

to extend martial law in the country until late April and require all adult Ukrainian men

up to the age of 60 to remain in the country and fight the Russian invasion. Global support for

Ukraine and against Russia continues as leaders from Poland, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic will travel to the capital, even as it remains under siege by the Russians in an effort to show NATO support for the Ukrainian effort.
