It is official the 49ers are no longer the one seed in the NFC.

Currently, now the fifth seed would be a wild card team

if the season ended today and of course the season does not end today but the

Seattle Seahawks beating the Minnesota Vikings 3730 on Monday night football means with the head-to-head win right now as the tiebreaker

the Seahawks would have the West 49ers would then be the Wild Card team

meaning that the 49ers would travel to Dallas go on the road to

face the six and six cowboys. Still plenty of time four weeks left and a lot of things will change the 49ers

control their own destiny if they can beat those Seahawks in week 17. That being a

big one, obviously another big one coming up in week 14 at the

New Orleans Saints the Rams and Falcons the other two teams the 49ers have so all

in FC teams after head to head the next tiebreaker is conference record.

The 49ers can still handle their own business and still stroll into the post season in the playoffs with a buy and the one seed in the NFC.
