0:13.6	The United Methodist Church, which after all these days is not so united, it lost more than
0:19.2	a million members over the course of just the last several days.
0:22.2	Now how in the world could you do that?
0:24.3	How could a denomination lose more than a million?
0:27.4	We're talking about 1.2 million adherents
0:30.5	just in the course of a few days. Well, what happened in United Methodism is that one of its largest conferences, in this case in Africa,
0:38.0	pulled out entirely from the United Methodist Church in open and vocal protests of that Church, absolute embrace of the
0:45.7	LGBTQ agenda just a matter of a few weeks ago. So what was the cost of the action
0:51.2	that was undertaken at the recent general conference of the United Methodist
0:54.6	Church. Well, even at the time they were talking about losing well over a thousand congregations, and
1:00.9	now they're talking about losing more than 1 million United Methodists in the course of just a matter of hours.
1:08.0	As Rob Plaster reports, quote, United Methodism's largest overseas jurisdiction has voted to quit the denomination in response. Quote, He goes on to tell us the United Methodist Church in the Ivory Coast voted on May the 28th to exit the denomination in
1:28.0	2002 this conference reportedly had over 1.2 million members so its departure means over one tenth of United
1:34.2	Methodism has in one day left the denomination. In one day more than 10%.
1:40.3	This isn't an accounting correction. This isn't a statistical aberration. This is the
1:45.5	loss of 10% of the church in just one day, and it is a direct result of the theological
1:51.4	liberalization and the absolute surrender of the United Methodist
1:54.6	Church to the moral gender and LGBTQ revolutions.
1:58.8	It took just a matter of days at that conference for the United Methodist Church to turn its back on scriptural authority
