Tuesday, June 17th, 2025. The Core 4. The four headlines you need to know. Like I just mentioned, TikTok is still facing a ban here in America.

But before we talk about the present, I want to take you back to August of 2020 for a moment.

Because that is when Donald Trump originally signed an executive order forcing bite dance to sell TikTok.

Like most of his executive orders,

it was eventually blocked by a federal judge. But that's what kicked off this whole process

of getting Congress to pass a bipartisan bill that would force bite dance to give up at least

50% ownership to an American investor or an American company. And if they didn't, TikTok would be banned in the United States.

Which brings us to today, almost five years after claiming Chinese ownership of TikTok was a huge security threat.

Trump is about to extend TikTok's deadline to sell the app a third time.
