across the board as you start your day and it starts right now

and we always start with the top story. We knew this was coming.

And yesterday, President Biden proposed

three major Supreme Court changes.

He's calling for term limits, he said under the new rules a

president quote would appointed justice every two years to spend 18 years in

active service on the Supreme Court. He's also proposing a quote,

no one is above the law amendment which would say there is no immunity for crimes of

former president committed while in office and third would be a code of conduct which would require the Supreme Court justices to disclose gifts and recuse themselves from cases in which they may have a conflict of interest.

It seems that most experts in this space think it's unlikely

he's going to get the Congress to approve these changes but that's what he's

proposing. All right okay on, on the Sports Back to the Olympics, the opening ceremony was a big hit.

It brought in over 32 million viewers across all the NBC platforms that were showing it. That's way up

compared to the Tokyo opening ceremony. That had 17 million, so almost double.

Also, there's been a lot of controversy about a moment during the opening ceremony

featuring drag queens depicting what a lot of people thought was the last supper.

The artistic director of the opening ceremony. His name is Thomas Jolly. He just spoke about it and said it was not inspired by the last supper. He said it was not designed to mock anyone. Still there's quite a bit of outrage out there.

One of the sports getting a lot of attention is men's gymnastics. The

U.S. team won a bronze medal ending a 16 year drought for them. Nice job. As of

this morning the medal count for us stands at three gold, eight silver, and nine bronze.
