postcard in the mail from one of you, and I've got a couple actually that I've neglected to share

with you. This one from my friend Steve Wing,

Steve, saw you last week at camp

and you handed me this postcard,

which means either you're forgetful

or didn't want to pay the postage or whatever.

But honestly, it was great to meet you. And this is a really nice

postcard from Pompeii. Never got a postcard and have never been to Pompeii. So thank you for that.

Steve, appreciate it. We are in Ephesians, as you know, and we didn't even cover one verse yesterday because we were giving

you introduction to the book. But today, I want to dive right in. So look at Ephesians chapter

one and verse number one, where in typical epistle format, the Apostle Paul introduces himself, author, tells us who he's writing to

audience, and then gives a greeting. Now, the temptation when you read your Bible is to look at verses

like these as if they're somewhat less important. Well, this is an introduction, so let's get into what the Bible really says.

And we should never do that because every word of God is pure.
