information to unpack about the Alaska Airlines flight, which lost a door plug and caused a hole the size of a refrigerator in the airplane while it was at 16,000 feet.

And by the way, a door plug means it was a plug covering an unused exit door.

Those plugs are placed where the exit door would be if the aircraft had more seats. Okay, since yesterday's podcast, one of the first things we learned

is that due to a pressurization warning light that turned on three different times,

that specific aircraft had been restricted, meaning it was not being used for flights

to Hawaii because Alaska wanted to make sure they could turn it around quickly and get it to an airport
