| 1:12.2 | dishonorably discharged. And when a person is dishonorably discharged, it goes on their military |
| 1:18.3 | record, which can be searched by a future employer. And the person in question also loses out |
| 1:24.7 | on a ton of benefits that go to honorably discharged service members. |
| 1:29.9 | And even though Obama repealed the gay man in 2011, those service members who were dishonorably |
| 1:35.5 | discharged before 2011 still weren't getting the benefits they deserved. |
| 1:40.3 | Now, thanks to a class action lawsuit that was settled yesterday, the Pentagon agreed to change the status of all of those dishonorable discharges to honorable, which will allow somewhere around 35,000 vets to get the benefits they have been denied. |
