If there was ever a situation that made you feel like our entire government is a scam,

this might be it.

Politicians, especially the ones in the Republican Party, have been screaming at us for

years about how dangerous our southern border with Mexico is. They've even gone so far as to

call it a threat to our national security. And listen, I'm not saying they're wrong. Things could and

should be handled a lot better at our southern border, from making sure we know who's crossing the

border to making sure

people arriving at that border are treated like human beings.

We can go on and on about what could or should be done along our border with Mexico.
