Hey, friends, welcome back. We're here in Galatians, Chapter 2, really, really enjoying this study.

And so glad that you joined us for this important really highly doctrinal study.

Certain books of the Bible tend to be more maybe practical. I'm thinking about the book of

James. Not that it's not doctrinal, it certainly is, but other books of the Bible really

dive deeply into establishing the reality of the theological

correctness of what salvation is and all the terms that relate to it, terms like justification

and sanctification and imputation and just understanding what we have and who we are in Christ.

Galatians is very similar in scope and in sequence to the book of Romans.

And you can often view them together.

In fact, the chapter we're reading now, Galatians chapter two, really has a lot

of information in it that you read in Romans, four, Romans, six. And the Apostle Paul was very, very

comprehensive as he dealt with these various churches about what salvation is. It's the bedrock.

It's the foundation for who we are as believers. We better get that right. There are issues,

no doubt, that we can disagree about. There are preferences that you might have that I don't

and vice versa. And we can have strong opinions. But when it comes to the
