Jim Carrey, Steve Harvey, and James Earl Jones, all of them a year older today.

And on this date in US history, 103 years ago, prohibition began.

They had a dry January, February march. It went on for 13 years. Drinking alcohol was outlawed.

The 18th Amendment was finally repealed in 1933. Cheers.

All right. Now, Gait, let's go ripen through all the headlines here. We always start with the top

stories. We get close to a full calendar year since Russia's initial invasion of Ukraine.

This week, more than 600 Ukrainian soldiers began a training program led by the US in Germany.

It will reportedly be a five week course designed to hone the skills of the Ukrainian military.

Additionally, about 100 Ukrainian soldiers will soon begin training on the Patriot defense system

here in the US. They're going to be in Oklahoma. And this comes as Russia continues to pound their

country. The death toll from this weekend's missile strike on a nine-story apartment building in

Ukraine is climbed to 40. Yes, yes, getting into sports. It was the end of the road for Tom Brady

and the Buccaneers last night. Their season is over with the final score of 31 to 14. The Cowboys

advance and the Bucks go home. They won, despite their kicker missing four extra points. He only

missed three of them all season. And he missed four last night. It's crazy. There was a scary moment

that was toward the end of the game when Russell Gage of the Buccaneers had to be taken off the

field on a card. He was laying flat on his back. He couldn't get up. He was taken to a local hospital

and evaluated for a concussion and neck injury, hoping for the best.
