So those who celebrate, I want to wish everybody a very happy New Year,

and I don't mean radio New Year, I mean the day in which you send your kids to school. In fact, it's not New Year's. It's Independence Day. Stop it. I want to wish everybody a very happy Independence Day. My kids are still home. What are you talking about? What? Yes. They don't go until Thursday. That's ridiculous. That's a crime against, you know, everything. Well, I sent my kids to school today. Sean said his kids to school today. So everybody out there who's able to do so, congratulations. It's a very happy day. It's also the day where we're all back together. We've got a lot to talk about. We'll get to the Mets a little bit later on. The Yankees begin this very, very important stretch. And the American League East is well within their grasp. We'll get to the Jets in a second. But breaking news in the last few hours, Jackson Dart is QB2. Now let me start off with this basic question, Tiki. The unofficial depth chart has him at number two.

Yes.

What does that even mean?

Nothing really?

Nothing at all.

It means that Jackson Dart has done enough to show that he is not a liability if he should have to play.

If he had to become a player, if Russell Wilson got hurt and he had to come in and play for the New York Giants,

the Giants trust him to be able to do that theoretically.

Right.

That's what that means.

I mean, in some ways, it's actually really good for Jackson Dart because he will take

second team reps for the Giants in the regular season practices.

It now pushes James Winston to that emergency quarterback role.

He'll still be dressed, so it doesn't really make that huge of a difference.

But I think it's just honestly, it's a testament to how well Jackson Dart played this

preseason and how much faith they had in his growth from being drafted in late April to

playing through the preseason and now leading up into the regular season. Again, it's mostly
