You see our Becky Worley is live in San Francisco gearing up for the Pro Bowl as we count down to the Super Bowl.

Right now that we have some breaking news for our viewers in the West, a major leadership announcement about the Walt Disney Company, our parent company.

Josh Tomorrow is going to be the new chief executive officer of Disney. He's a 28-year Disney veteran, current chairman of Disney experiences.

He will succeed Bob Iger, who of course has been at the helm for two decades.

And board chairman, James Gorman, praised Amaro's rare combination of inspiring leadership and

innovation, adding that his strategic vision and passion for Disney, the Disney brand, make him

the right person to lead Disney's next chapter.

Iger echoed that confidence, calling Tomorrow an exceptional leader with an instinctive appreciation

of the Disney brand

and a deep understanding of what resonates with audiences and saying his ability to combine

creativity with operational excellence is exemplary. Iger will remain a senior advisor and board

member through 2026 to help guide the transition. Dana Walden will become Disney's first ever president and chief creative officer

Demarro, who has led Disney's Parks and Experiences Division, said he's immensely grateful

for the opportunity, adding, there is no limit to what Disney can achieve.
