This race is between Democratic Senator Raphael Warnock and Republican candidate Herschel Walker

And this is happening because neither of those candidates receive 50% of the vote during the midterms

Which is required in Georgia if Warnock wins the Democrats will have an outright majority in the Senate right now

They have control thanks to the vice presidents tie breaking vote

But this would be a clear majority form all the campaigning and the rallies on both sides ends today as millions of Georgia residents cast their votes
