The president-elect nominee for health secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is meeting with

First, the school shooting in Wisconsin.

There have now been 488 mass shootings in the United States this year.

Ten years ago, 2014, 272 mass shootings.

By 2021, the number peaked at 689.

Another student and teacher have now been killed.

Six other people were wounded, two with life-threatening injuries.

Parents waited hours to be reunited with their children, and overnight, authorities identified the shooter who killed herself.
