story. Today it's a little different. Normally I start with some you know like

hard news but this is such a big deal in the music world that I'm just I'm going with it.

Oasis has officially reunited after a 15 year hiatus

Liam and Noel Gallagher have announced a tour.

Yesterday it was just a rumor and now it's real. It's

official. Just 14 shows for now none of what you're here in the States but who

knows what could come after this first batch. They are arguably one of the biggest bands in the world and these

two brothers really appeared to hate each other for a long time. I are going to see a lot of headlines

about this today. The first show, the first Oasis show, I can't believe I'm saying it, is scheduled for July 4th of next first All right, okay, on to sports. In football news, 25-year-old CD Lamb just signed an enormous deal with the Dallas Cowboys.

It's reportedly a four-year 136 million dollar extension, with a 38 million dollar signing bonus that makes him the second highest paid non-quarterback in NFL history.

Carrie Underwood you can hear some of that in a promo that I've got up in our

Instagram stories this morning at First Thing Pod up there. The season gets

started next Thursday night, September 5th.

In baseball, this is absolutely bananas, but a catcher named Danny Janssen just became the

first player in Major League Baseball history to play for both teams in the same game. On June 26th

he played for the Toronto Blue Jays game against the Boston Red Sox started.

It started pouring and it was suspended. They just made that game up they picked up where they left off and in July

Danny was traded to the Red Sox so he started the first inning in June on the Blue Jays and finished the game in August on the Red Sox.

First time in history, someone has played for both teams in the same game.
