0:36.8	has not been charged, but that he is being held in police custody until Wednesday,

0:43.1	They also said that he is being held in relation to an investigation against a, quote,
0:47.6	person unnamed, which involves a wide range of charges, including money laundering, refusal to cooperate with law enforcement,
0:54.7	complicity in drug trafficking, and the possession and distribution of child pornography,
0:59.2	and violations related to import and export of encryption tools.

1:07.0	Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced yesterday that his state has removed over 1 million people and counting from its voter rolls
1:16.8	thanks to a package of voter suppression measures that was passed by the Republican State Legislature and signed by Abbott into law in 2021.
1:25.0	One of those measures requires the Secretary of State to conduct audits of the voter rolls every
1:29.3	two years.
1:30.6	And as a result, nearly half a million of these voters were removed because they were categorized on something called the suspense list, meaning that the county is simply unaware of a voter's current address.
