Kurt for today's episode. Hey there, team. Welcome back Genesis chapter 22 today. And we're in the

middle of a story in the Bible that just is heart-wrenching when you think about it in terms of real life,

put yourself in that position where Abraham's faith was tested in a big way.

You know, great faith is tested in a great way.

And part of the reason why Abraham would face an ordeal like this is because

his faith was just so profoundly deep in God. And remember, it's the trying of our faith that

worketh or produces patience and endurance in our life.

And I think that there's probably a parallel to the, you know, God not giving you

more than you can handle, ever hear about that, that statement, that's true.

And here, the fact that Abraham was asked to do such an outlandish

thing, I think in itself is a great indication of Abraham's capacity to trust the Lord. And maybe

that's an encouragement to you in something that God's allowing in your life right now,

realizing that God will not allow us to be tempted or tested above that we are able,

but he will with that temptation make a way of escape.
