Twitter. $44 billion. He said in a statement, quote, free speech is the bedrock of a functioning

democracy and Twitter is the digital town square where matters vital to the future of humanity

are debated. He said he plans on making the social media network better than ever with new features.

He's also expected to loosen up content rules in the name of free speech.
