wild to me. America Ferrera is celebrating as well. Courtney Kardashian, Melissa Joan Hart,

Eli Roth, Conan O'Brien, Eric McCormack, Rick Moranis, he's 70. I love that dude.

And legendary actress Haley Mills, Miss Bliss, she's 77 today. And on the state and TV history,

40 years ago today, the Disney Channel began broadcasting. An episode of the Mickey Mouse Club from

the 50s was the first thing they ate. Okay, let's go. We're going to start with the top story.

This is the biggest story at the moment. It's getting a lot of attention. It's the shooting of Ralph

Yarl and Kansas City, Missouri. It's the latest tragedy to grip the nation. A lot of information

came out yesterday. Ralph is a 16 year old black boy that knocked on the wrong door while out picking

up his brothers. The homeowner reportedly shot him in the head. And while he was on the ground

bleeding, shot him a second time in the arm. This happened Thursday night. And despite being so

badly injured, he was able to run to a neighbor's house for help. A man named James Lynch,

is sort of the hero here. He helped Ralph until paramedics could come. He deserves some recognition.

James Lynch, this man, the alleged shooter who is reportedly an 84 year old white man, was questioned

and released the night had happened, which angered a lot of people. And now he has been charged.

This came out last night charged with armed criminal action and first degree assault.

The county prosecutor said that there was a racial component to the case. We also found out yesterday

that Ralph was released from the hospital on Sunday and is home with his family. His mom's a nurse,
