Hey guys, welcome back. So glad that you joined us for today's episode, whether you're listening

Some of you are a little bit behind. I know that because I've talked to you and you're listening to this episode, but it's way after

the actual date that it was released. And that's okay too. Don't you love the fact that the Bible

does not have a shelf life? It is just as applicable on September 13th as it is on April 6th. September 13th is my wife's birthday.

So that's why that came readily to my mind. But yeah. And it doesn't make a difference if it's

1941 or if it's 2026 or if it's whatever. The Bible is valid and applicable to all people of all ages.

And I'm glad that you're joining today.

We're in verse number 10 of Matthew chapter 17, Jesus and three of his disciples have been up on the top of the Mount of Transfiguration.

I would love to take you one day and bring you to a place called Mount Bental, which is all the way to the north of Israel and the Golan Heights, and show you a great panoramic view of Mount Hermone, which I believe

is the Mount of Transfiguration. Beautiful. It's the only snow-capped mountain in Israel, and it's a

beautiful, it's awe-inspiring sight. But look at verse number 10, because on their way down, and I would say this, and I say this often,

and that is to get a good kind of comprehensive view of all of the stories that we're talking

about, it really is good to read the other accounts and the other gospels because you get a little
