The suspect in this case was located at approximately 11.35 pm in the city of Lansing.

The suspect is deceased due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Michigan law enforcement officials released details about the 43-year-old suspected gunmen

who fatally shot three students and wounded five at Michigan State University on Monday.

Police say the suspect's motive remains unclear.

A witness who was in a classroom entered by the shooter recalls when he first heard gunshots.

I was sitting right next to the door where he came in, literally one of the first two

seats.

He came in.

And I thank God my fighter flight response kicked in because I had booked it to the

far side of the class and ducked down and he came in and shot three to four times in our

classroom.

According to Sparrow Hospital, the wounded students remained in critical condition this morning.
