White House Press Secretary Kareem Jomper is shooting a statement on Monday informing Americans

that they should not expect to know the results of the election on election night.

We may not know all the winners of elections for a few days.

It takes time to count all legitimate ballots in a legal and orderly manner.

That's how this is supposed to work.

A variety of pollsters and pundits, including ABCs Isabella Murray, have issued warnings

of a so-called red mirage, meaning that GOP leads made to finish or disappear in the

days after election as mail-in votes are counted.

Pennsylvania Democratic Lieutenant Governor John Federman's U.S. Senate campaign filed a lawsuit

this week against state election officials, arguing that mail-in ballots with an incorrect

or missing postage date, should be counted in Tuesday's election.

Plain Assef asked a federal judge to order all mail-in ballots to be counted regardless

of the date voters' pin on the envelope.

The lawsuit comes a week after the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled that officials should set

aside and not count mail-in ballots with an incorrect or empty date.

The Department of Justice announced Monday that it would be sending federal election monitors

to 64 jurisdictions and 24 states to ensure all jurisdictions are remaining compliant with

federal voting laws.

In Arizona and New Jersey, voters have experienced some difficulties with voting machines.
