The 49ers blockbuster trade up to the third overall pick in next month's draft is still

causing waves around the lead.

While addressing reporters on Monday, general manager John Lynch confirmed he'll be taking

a quarterback with that pick and has no plans to trade current starter Jimmy Carapolo.
