We are joined by last night from the Voluntary Human Extinction Movement.

We're going to talk to Les what it's like to be an extinctionist.

Les, thanks for doing this. Welcome to the the show how do you like being an

extinctionist oh it's the greatest you know you know I hadn't heard that term

extinctionist until Elon Musk said you know the problem isn't left and right, it's

extinctionist versus humanitarian.

Like, wait a minute, I'm both humanitarian and extinctionist.

Well, how do you circle that square?

That kind of seems like they're at odds with each other. Oh it does seem like it at

first glance yes but you know as we phase ourselves out humans will have so much better life.

You know, tens of thousands of children dying every day.

All that would be gone.

We might even have world peace.

We stop fighting over all the resources and have more room spread out, you know, more of everything for everybody. Housing won't have homeless people because there will be houses available.

A way we're going now, we're increasing by 70 million a year.

And if we were decreasing by 70 million a year,
