Welcome to another edition of the Cool Stuff Ride Home podcast, where we bring you some of the

most interesting stories of the day. I'm Roger Rizu. By myself today, Marcus Papp, will be

joining us tomorrow. On today's episode, NASA will recruit a non-U.S. citizen to join them

in the next mission to the moon.

And we take a look back at the cool stuff that we covered this year.

Well, NASA is planning to return to the moon.

This time, they will be bringing an international astronaut. The U.S. government said

that the trip to the moon will happen by the end of this decade at the earliest 2027. The announcement

came when Vice President Kamala Harris met with the National Space Council in Washington. This is the

third time that they have met. While they did talk about adding an international astronaut to the

mission, they did not say who it would be or where they would be from.

In fact, the entire crew will not be announced until they get closer to the lunar mission launch date.

This will not be the first time an astronaut from another country has joined the U.S. in space.
