I'm your host, Tori. So today's the 22nd of September. I've edited a bit on the

intro. I'm trying to get things done so many things to do.

Lots of fronts that I'm working on,

there's just so much.

So I just wanted to say,

we have a lot of news to talk about and a bit of traveling down through time so that we understand what is happening right now in respects to the Supreme Court pick and what is to come.

I think a lot of people don't seem to remember history.

And the precedent that was set by other presence

in respects to Supreme Court picks

and when and how and what. So we need to be visiting that, definitely. So I

thought what best way to do that? I think the best thing we can do is travel into time and

see what President Eisenhower had done because a lot of people seem to forget. So let me get that done so we can see and understand just where we're at.

What fascinating about the Eisenhower appointment is that suddenly an opening appeared on the Supreme

Court when Sherman Minton, due to ill health, left only three weeks before the election in 1956.
