So today is May 19th, 2020.

I have to say, today is a special day for me it was the first day that I became a mother in my life

20 years ago I was a young 20 something super young I was a young 20-something super young I was 22 and you know this human being decided to come

out months early and you know I not only was I a first-time parent and, you know, uncertain of what is to come for making that decision while everyone was telling me to terminate the pregnancy, I can say it was like

the most incredible, I would, I can't even, there's no words for it. I mean you know you get this little tiny human that you're

scared to touch because they might break and she was in an incubator for almost four months because she was so early and now she's independent, strong,

and she's the best version of me I could have been at 20.

I mean, at 20 I was doing a lot of things things

that I'm like oh my gosh how am I still alive you know I had already

traveled a lot had seen a lot.

I mean I remember when I was 19 I was in some place in the Middle East and I could hear

I have like this white hair in the front of my head and I actually heard it like

turn white so she's she's been armed with knowledge, the ability to be objective.

You know, as a parent I feel I succeeded in that.

And she's and she reminds me of that success.

So happy birthday to my eldest,

who's probably not listening because she's sleeping in

because it's her birthday.

And she's now serving all of us serving our country which I'm
