This is interesting. The information is reporting on a secret deal between Tim Cook and the government of China brokered back in 2016, which allegedly paved the way

for Apple's success in that country by promising to help China develop its economy, Quoting extensively from the piece.

Apple's iPhone recently became the top-selling smartphone in China,

its second biggest market after the US for the first time in six years.
