Now he's a, he's a brilliant political commentator has an evening show at eight o'clock in the, in the Eastern zone here. He's brilliant. And his book Ship of Fools has just gone to number one. Number one, one, one, one, one, the New York Times. New York Times list. Times, times, times, list, list. Big deal. Big deal. So we're gonna talk about

him in a couple of minutes. Um, now tomorrow, we're gonna talk to Diamond and Silk. Say what? Diamond and Silk. They have real names, but they, they go by Diamond and Silk. They are so hilarious. They are effortlessly hilarious. Yes. And they have a movie coming out. I can't even say this without laughing. I know I'm upset you're laughing. It's called dummy crats.

I mean, how do you not laugh? It's so, it makes me think of Fred Sanford. You know, Fred, big dummy, big dummy.

First of all, last night, we had Socrates in the city. I want to talk about that. But Mike Lindell is creating a pillow for my book, Donald drains the swamp. Uh, and it's, it's gonna, it's gonna take a couple of weeks to, to get it out. But the book, Donald drains the swamp. Uh, I was on, just yesterday, I was on the blaze radio with Doc Thompson in the morning. Uh, and then in the afternoon,

I was on the Dennis Prager show with Sebastian Gorka. And the book is suddenly like rocketing up the charts. And I think, uh, it's gonna sell out of the first printing. They probably didn't print enough. And so you're gonna get the second printing if you don't order it soon. Right. That's just a warning. Yeah. Because the second printing is not as valuable in the future. No, you want the first printing first edition. Hey, I'm just saying, you know, you do what you want. Yeah. But the, the, um, the, the, the, the, the story is getting out there.

And people are excited about it. I'm gonna be on jopisco boat tomorrow. So a lot of stuff going on. But I want to talk before we get a Tecro Carlson about last night. Yes.

Last night we had Socrates in the city. And I want to tell you, I think maybe it was my favorite of all that I've done. Well, yeah, I told you afterwards. I, it was, it was, it was not number one. It was, you've been to a million of it. Oh, yeah. Oh, I go over the years. Yeah, you used to volunteer years ago. Oh, yeah. Uh, and is it Mr. Mitt,

I can help you out. And you could, you could. And you could, and you, and you're, and you're then girlfriend and would show up. That's right. And now she's my then wife. That's right. But so, so, um, uh, last night, our guest was Mark Helprin. Now a lot of people think,

think Mark Helprin, the political guy. No, no, no, Mark Helprin, the fiction writer, Mark Helprin. He is without any question. One of the greatest fiction writers,

uh, in recent decades, without any question. When I read his short stories, uh, and his novel Winters Tale and his novel, a soldier of the Great War,

there is something about his writing. I have never seen its equal period. Ever, never, uh, absolute genius. I mean, a genius on the level of Nabokov, uh, updike,

chiever, he's, he's in that rank. And his fiction, um, it's only equaled by chiever in terms of the spiritual quality, the, the ability to uplift beautiful.

Mm-hmm. And he shared some fun chiever stories. Well, let me tell you, he is one of the most entertaining. Yeah. I got a quote from last matter hung out with. I wrote this down to die. Well, you have to live well. Yeah.

That's what he stole that from me. I did. But, but actually, seriously, he, he is one of the most thoughtful and entertaining people, apart from being one of the greatest writers ever.

Mm-hmm. Um, so to have him, it's opportunities in the city last night, I was, uh, rather in awe of him, when, when you read his stuff, you can't help but be in awe of him.

If you're sensitive to that kind of thing, to that kind of a poetic and, and fictive, if that's a word, ability, um, but in person, he's so entertaining. Now, if you go, um, I'm going to post this on, on Facebook and on my weekly, uh, e, e blast, uh, and on Twitter, uh, we did a Facebook live last night.
