Fox News firing controversial host Tucker Carlson today, a total earthquake that comes

amidst the rockiest period in the history of the controversial conservative Fox News channel,

which of course recently folded in that record breaking $787 million penalty in the case

about the faming of Odom Company machine and lying about the 2020 election, as well as

heat on the company's wider reporting and errors and workplace practices.

Now, Carlson is one of Fox's most watched and until now, highest paid stars.

So by all accounts, today's firing surprised him, his own team, and most of his colleagues.

Fox did not allow him a final show.

The decision in firing clearly came fast.

This was his sign off on Friday.
