So glad you're with us for the Tuesday edition of the Three Martini Lunch and Jim, you know,

just when the Democrats think they have Republicans on the defensive

over ICE operations in Minnesota, there's always a story that the Democrats, and for the most

part, the media don't want to touch, although the media have done a better job on this story.

There's another story very similar to Lake and Riley that's playing out in Chicago, Illinois, which of course is a

sanctuary city, sanctuary state. It centers around the story of Sheridan Gorman. She was an 18-year-old

from New York who was attending Loyola University. According to reports, she and some friends

went out to the pier along Lake Michigan there where the campus is near and wanted to check out the northern lights.

And some guy just shot her.

Well, that some guy was an illegal immigrant who appears to have just randomly targeted her.

And he shouldn't be in the country and he certainly shouldn't have been in Illinois.

And don't forget who's trying to stop ICE from removing these people from these communities. But in addition to the fact

that this person never should have been there, there is an alderman from the city of Chicago. Her name

is Maria Haddon and she decided it was really important to hop on social media and explain how, you know,

she didn't mean to do it, but it's really the victim's fault. The kids were out doing normal,

normal things people do in the neighborhood. And it sounds like this might have been a wrong place,

wrong time running into a person who had a gun. They might have startled this person at the

end of the pier unintentionally. I might have startled this person at the end of the pier unintentionally.
