Summary

Join Jim and Greg for the Tuesday 3 Martini Lunch as they weigh in on an Illinois politician blaming the victim for being murdered by an illegal alien, Tucker Carlson praising the supposed tolerance of Sharia Law, and the Senate confirming Oklahoma Sen. Markwayne Mullin as Secretary of Homeland Security.

First, they fume over the murder of a college student near Loyola University in Chicago, allegedly at the hands of an illegal immigrant. A Chicago alderman quickly suggested on social media that the victim may unintentionally be to blame or her own killing. Jim calls out the left's huge double standard on illegals.

Next, Jim and Greg react to Tucker Carlson’s latest comments defending Sharia Law as tolerant welcoming diversity. They question how anyone can square those claims with the reality in Islamic countries, and Jim has some basic questions for those who continue to defend Carlson.

Then, they discuss the Senate’s swift confirmation of Sen. Markwayne Mullin as Secretary of Homeland Security. And in the chaser, Jim and Greg react to Tom Steyer, the billionaire Democrat running for governor of California, making a truly bizarre statement about current Gov. Gavin Newsom.

part, the media don't want to touch, although the media have done a better job on this story.

0:32.9

There's another story very similar to Lake and Riley that's playing out in Chicago, Illinois, which of course is a

0:38.5

sanctuary city, sanctuary state. It centers around the story of Sheridan Gorman. She was an 18-year-old

from New York who was attending Loyola University. According to reports, she and some friends

went out to the pier along Lake Michigan there where the campus is near and wanted to check out the northern lights.

And some guy just shot her.

0:59.3

Well, that some guy was an illegal immigrant who appears to have just randomly targeted her.

And don't forget who's trying to stop ICE from removing these people from these communities. But in addition to the fact

1:17.1

that this person never should have been there, there is an alderman from the city of Chicago. Her name

1:22.5

is Maria Haddon and she decided it was really important to hop on social media and explain how, you know,

1:29.2

she didn't mean to do it, but it's really the victim's fault. The kids were out doing normal,

1:33.4

normal things people do in the neighborhood. And it sounds like this might have been a wrong place,

wrong time running into a person who had a gun. They might have startled this person at the

end of the pier unintentionally. I might have startled this person at the end of the pier unintentionally.

I might have startled the person at the end of the pier so naturally they would just have to
