us after evidently far too long, the host of the Luke Beasley show, Luke Beasley's back.

John, we were talking before we started that I'm trying this new thing where I just look

at myself in the mirror and laugh before each day.

And then I just pretend that I'm happy and it's kind of working.

Yeah, I like that in theory.

That kind of seemed more like crying to me though.

It didn't seem, keep working at it, keep working at it.

But anyway, it has been a while and I know that because in our call before the show began,

you hadn't seen our new background or whatever, which obviously we're in a light and happy

mood, which is why I'm wreathed in flame.

But I know you've not only been working, you've been hosting your show, you've also been

traveling. What's been going on in the world of Luke since last we spoke? It just feels a little bit like every day's different in an insane way, but it's also kind of the same.

I don't know if was it, are you referencing the Ukraine trip? I can't remember that happened before after our last one.

I did go to Ukraine, went to the front lines. That was an insanely scary but eye-opening experience.

And I think since then it's served as a reminder that often, especially with our constant

new story, new cycle, always a new scandal, there are a lot of stories that go unremembered.

And one thing that's been weighing on my heart is even myself, I'm back to like,

hey, Trump said something funky about Cole and forget the real human toll globally that's

...
