I don't know why I'm giggling laughing because of how we walked right into the show, but we'll we got to talk about the history that was made this week.

Aaron judge, I mean 62 homeruns. Just amazing. And anytime, anytime Brady, you can take several weeks to celebrate and soak in a man becoming a tying the seventh most home runs in a single season in MLB history.

You really have to do. Did you notice the M.O.B. is kind of pivot just to avoid all the flack for like trying to talk about what no one can unsee, which was Barry bonds jacking up what was a 73 73 homeruns.

I mean, I will never forget that. I remember watching that season. I remember watching the McGuire, so Sarah's and I understand like we're going to go back talk about PDs. OK.

The reality is you can't unsee that and and that's the record in my mind. So look, it's an ale record. That's great. I feel like the MLB is even pivoted to that take.

But I know it's it's a hot button topic for a lot of people. Like a lot of people are like, boy, he's clean. Is he like five years from now? Like if we find something out, like, how are you going to look back on this? And beyond that for a sport that like we're going to condemn players for.

You know, taking PDs, which obviously like that's all kind of on the league, the police that because it was rampant at that point in time. Everyone's doing it. Even the guys throwing to them.

Now it's like, well, they they manufacture the baseballs like they can control whether or not those baseballs have a little extra pop off the bats. And they would increase some of those numbers. So like, what do we try to lie with MLB? I know it's a football podcast, but it is recent, you know, history.

No, I mean, like I agree completely. And remember, so in 1990s, I was a huge baseball fan grown up, huge baseball fan. Like that was, that was my dad.

Could you not be back then? I mean, but like so 94 was a strike sort of strike sort of strike short in season. Albert Bell was on his way.

Yeah. But when when that happened, baseball lost so many fans, because they're like putting it, you could just just going to not play baseball. Okay, whatever. Like we're not in for this. And so that's why MLB, in my opinion,

when so similar wires started blasting the in bonds and all these guys are just cranking her runs and like, there's interest back in baseball. It's on the cover sports illustrated.
