narcissism just a few days before the United States is going to select our next

president and it is definitely a time of just historic national pain and

divisiveness. So you know why narcissism you know frankly one aspect of this election

that has driven people to such depth of passion is our collective draw or our version away from some of the large personalities

that continue to inflame our fascination and our interest.

You know, at Therapists and Sensory, this is a podcast that's dedicated to promoting security and connection between people.

So given that, we felt it really essential to explore this cultural phenomena from a level of depth and compassion.

So to help us we have the honor of having two very special guests joining our

discussion who are experts in this area.

Dr. Cruz and Dr. Bouser have co-edited the book entitled A Clear and Present Danger, Narcicism in the Era of Trump.

Now why the title of this book may suggest that our goal is to promote one candidate over another, we can assure you that's not our objective.

to help us understand how did we get here, how we got here, and where we might go from here.

We look at it from both an individual standpoint why are we drawn to narcissism

in general you know as well as why currently we're drawn to narcissism as strong personality as a culture at this time in the US history.
