It's a mock draft Monday edition.

I'm here as always with producer AJ.

And AJ, we usually mock for the Vikings on mock draft Monday. But we have something special up our sleeve for today, don't we? Yeah. I mean, this is we were sort of, I guess we were texting back and forth throughout the weekend. And you threw out this idea and you were like, I don't know if anybody's going to like it. I don't know if you're like, I don't know people might hate this. I was like, no, lay it on me. And you said, what if we put like the villain mask on? What if we put ourselves in the shoes of the rivals for the Vikings, the NFC North rivals of the lions, the Packers and the Bears and see what it would be like to draft as them.

You had an idea of should fans be nervous about, you know, sort of the equity that they have?

1:00.7

Could they get, you know, a game-changing player that's an immediate start that's going to

1:04.9

terrorize the Vikings for, you know, for years to come?

1:08.3

What that sort of looks like, because we focus so much on the Vikings.

I know that you have kind of compiled a list of the top needs for all three of those teams. We're going to run through it. Just the first, I think, three or four rounds at most just because once we get to the later half, especially that day three portion of the draft, it's like, you know, who knows what you're going to get. but those top guys, I'm excited to see because as good as we have had like success mocking for the Vikings, it can be just as bad for it from the Vikings perspective, seeing how good mocks can be for some of these other teams too.

1:39.8

Yeah.

1:40.1

And and just to get into this.

1:41.8

So starting with the NFC North draft equity holdings, this is an area where the Vikings are in first place heading in, you know, two plus weeks here.

1:51.5

The Vikings sit number 18 in the NFL in draft equity for later this month.

1:56.5

The bears, or I'm sorry, the lions are 20th, bears are 22nd, Packers are 30th. So, and the Vikings, you know, a team that has not picked much on day two here in recent years with the three day two picks tied with the Bears for the lead in the division is in terms of that. They're also the Vikings tied with the Lions for the most draft picks in the division with nine total, But you add up all the equity and they're number one in that at least.

2:21.5

So let's get into the exercise, AJ.

2:24.0

I think we're going to start with the lions.

2:26.0

So we're going to rip through some mocks of our rivals here, some stick and pick

2:30.2

moks and just sort of talk through their team needs and the outcomes that we're hoping to
