Summary

In this episode we discussed wicking beds for home food production in a way that improves ease of growing and virtually eliminates any conventional irrigation requirements.  In reality wicking beds are the easy button especially in hot dry climates.  While scale can be a limiting factor the production, reliability and reduced maintenance make them a fantastic choice for homestead production. The original show was titled Episode-2219- Wicking Beds for Easy Garden Production and was first published on 5-15-18. Now, why are you getting an unexpected rewind on a Monday?

0:37.0

There's a couple

0:37.5

reasons one of them is I had to walk around a tree trimmer type guy this morning and

0:44.2

that took up quite a bit of my time I got quite a bit of work that I need done that I

0:48.0

simply don't have the time to get done and I want to make sure that everything was

past week that enabled me to get that up and running and it is going to be live probably on May the 5th which is a Monday

1:13.2

and it's going to give me some time to do some marketing to the lead up of the drop date of

1:17.9

the book so they can make a big hit out of the gate and I'm going to have some ways coming

1:22.6

where you guys can help me do that the price on the print copy of the book, I think, is $17, and then the Kindle version will be $10,

1:32.8

and I really want to move some of the print copies of the books if I can.

1:37.2

It's not a profit thing.

1:38.9

I make the same amount of money.

1:40.6

I make about $6.50 a book, whether the Kindle copy or whether the print copy.

1:46.3

But print copies have a way of being handed to other people and things like that and becoming

1:51.3

part of a library. And the whole purpose of this book is really twofold. One is to help people,

1:57.4

and two is to spread the message of the survival podcast even though it's not a survival
