And today folks we are rewinding back to May 31st 2016.

This was originally episode 1,797, training dogs to fit in on the homestead.

And as many of you know from my post yesterday and my absence from the air yesterday,

my dog Charlie passed away and it was a pretty hard hit, but on top of

it I got some kind of stomach crud that just had me down for the count yesterday and I'm not

feeling much better today. So hence the re-wasser. the Charlie. I'm not really ready to talk too much about it yet if you want to know my thoughts about it.

I you know I say best friend David and he's my best human friend my best friend was Charlie and it's a big thing to lose it's a big

thing to lose I know to some people a dog is just a dog but that's never the case with me

but Charlie is that one dog that you get one time in your life if you're

lucky and if you do not really understand what that means I can only say that I hope someday

uh... that you find out

and i will also tell you that when you know we outlive them so they can

make us better is how I put it and it's hard when that comes that said if you want

to know how to establish that relationship with a dog, so that you can

have a dog that is a good citizen on the homestead, a good citizen in the home so that they can
