aired June 11th 2009. Hi folks, Jack Spirko with another edition of the Survival Podcast.

As always, one man's view of the changing world, the changing times, the things that we can all

do to live a better life. If times get tough, or even if they don't dictate it is, almost always

the case. During my 50 mile commute between Arlington and Frisco, Texas, I'm expecting heavy winds,

heavy rains, lightning strikes, thunderstorms, and other adventures on my ride today. Last night on

the ride home, time I got home, the wife had the storm kit out, just in case we needed a little bit

for some power outages, but nothing major. Last night we had several tornadoes break out in the

Dallas-Fort Worth area. One actually, I should be driving by the area, did it hit? I don't know if it

did any damage, or if it touched down or not, I haven't heard that much from the news people yet.

But when I got home, they had a map up on the TV set saying, hey, there's a tornado on the

round-ear parker and the toll road, which I drive directly by there. If I get there, and I'm still

recording today, and this might not be a day where that's going to happen, because even if this

is a long show, and I think it's going to be a shorter one than normal, it's going to take me so

long to get there today that I'll be done by the time I get there. But I'll let you guys know in

the show notes if there is any damage visible. I have a feeling your isn't right there at that

...
