The beginners guide to growing food and this is just a good refresher for some and a good entry level point for many others.

When you start saying I want to produce some of my own food on my own property.

On that note, like this is a beginner's episode, but it does get pretty sophisticated.

I give away a lot of things in this that took me a lot of years to learn.

As far as different things that you can do to deal with problems and my entire fertility program and things like that.

This is one that's even though it's a rewind, there's a lot of links in the episode to the different items that I recommend when I get into that troubleshooting thing

where you see chlorosis on your plants, what can you supplement them with, et cetera,

to rectify those problems, make those plants nice and healthy and healthy plants are less attacked by pests and other diseases as well.

We also talk about the reasons for doing this today.

We talk about deciding whether or not we do the raised bed thing, not everybody needs to be doing that.

There's an expense to raised beds.

There's material to be brought in for raised beds. For some people, it's the best solution. Some people, it's not.

Some people dig a bed and put plants in it. It's the way that your ancestor did.

We'll talk about why it does make sense to your first year by plants, by seedlings instead of starting your own.

Maybe trying to start one or two things, but not being afraid.

You're developing a skill set here and maintaining a garden and seeing to your irrigation and troubleshooting are all three different skill sets.
