And today folks, we are rewinding back February 26, 2015 as we come a year forward each episode of this series of Rewinds during TSP 23 workshop.

This was originally episode 1527. It was called grafting root stocks and tree propagation.

Now, right about the time that I did this episode, a few weeks before it,

I had an interview with a gentleman named Kevin Hauser who does a lot of work with apples in California and grafting.

And he stated, all I use is M111 root stock for all my apples.

Say, one root stock for all the apples. And that prompted a listener back then to say,

what the heck does that mean? I realized that it like many subjects,

whether we're talking about grafting or plant propagation or whatever,

as you develop knowledge in it, you start using words and people don't know what the words mean.

And it's interesting, people think that when you're sitting around,

let's say two computer nerds start talking about routers and shit like that,

you know, I don't understand what's going on.

And you think, okay, that's nerd talk and it's so above my head.

There's no way you don't realize, I guarantee you you have something in your life that you know so much about,

that if you and some other enthusiast for it was talking about it in front of a person

that didn't know that subject, even if they found it moderately interesting,

but they didn't know it, they feel the same way.
