do a show due to professional commitments or rare vacations. These podcasts will appear

numbered accordingly. And today we're re-winding back to August

the 30th 2016. It doesn't sound that long ago, but that's six years. This was originally

episode 1860. It was titled Fun Training and Family Time with Airsoft guns. And while

the way it floats fast, I thought this would be a particularly good one to bring back

around for you due to the current time. It's actually going to preamp me doing a new

episode on it because I think I said most of what needs to be said on this one back when

I did. And the reason I think it's a concept that we need to really look at hard right

now is I don't know if there's ever been a time where we need to spend more time sharpening

our skills at self-defense. Operation of a weapon, putting rounds down way, range,

safety, etc. Like there's never been a time I think where the potential that we might

need to use these skills has been higher. Now I'm not saying that tomorrow the zombies

are coming and you need to be out there with your 50 BMG picking them off at 8000 yards

or something like that. No, no what I'm saying is that times are tough right now and they're

going to get tougher and the road forward is pretty clear that it's going to be bumpy

and full of potholes. And we may get through this next phase and that's what I see it is

as a phase of an adaptation of humankind to a world that is rapidly shifting in multiple

directions. And I've been talking about massive shift in this decade since the well the
