Hello and welcome to the Tuesday September 24th 2019 edition of Tesla Daily on

official Tesla Podcast. My name is Rob Maower. Today we are talking

a little bit more about the recently unsealed Solar City lawsuit documents, a new Dieselgate

development, and why Tesla stock was down 7.5% today. Pretty tough day with

Tessa falling to $223.21 down $18 per share that compared to the

NASDAQ down 1.46%, so definitely at least a piece of this being

driven by the macro environment. Other high at multiple companies or unprofitable companies

had similarly tough days with lift finishing down 7.5% on the day.

Uber down 5.2% Twitter down 4.5% Spotify down 4%

Netflix down 4.3% Shopify down 5.7%, etc. But a lot of these high growth

companies taking a big hit today. Always like to check in on the other

automakers to you on days like today. So GM was down 1.3, forward down 0.6, and Fiat Chrysler

down 3% even. So still down, but definitely seems to be more of a rotation out of growth than

out of auto.

Of course the big news today from a macro perspective was Democratic Speaker of the House

Nancy Pelosi announcing an official impeachment inquiry into President Trump.

This is the first of many steps into an impeachment process

to get a better understanding of what an impeachment inquiry truly is.

Politifact.com says, quote,

generally speaking, once the full House authorizes an impeachment inquiry,

the House Judiciary Committee has taken the lead in conducting an investigation, holding hearings

on proposed articles of impeachment
