0:10.8	difficult subjects. It's a sad reality. And even trying to think biblically about it and speak
0:19.2	about it, we're confronted with all kinds of temptations
0:22.8	and opportunities to misspeak and misstep.
0:25.7	We don't wanna do that, but we don't wanna be silent either
0:28.1	because of that.
0:29.3	And so we're going to talk today about how as pastors
0:33.4	we are trying to shepherd our church here in Cape Coral, Florida,
0:36.7	through these circumstances
0:38.2	and also hopefully provide some food for thought for other Christians and Christian leaders as well.

1:06.2	We are sitting in our studio just a couple of days past when there was an attempted assassination
1:12.0	or assassination attempt on former President Trump in Pennsylvania. And of course, the nation
1:19.4	as well as the world has been riveted to what happened there. We thank the Lord that
1:24.5	his life was spared, though there has been loss of life by an innocent
1:29.9	who was there at the rally and by the man who pulled the trigger evidently.
1:35.5	So this is a real tragic moment in the history of our nation.
1:40.7	We're pastors.
1:41.7	We had to deal with this on Sunday because these events took place on a Saturday
