And today we want to talk about the issue of money or properly stewarding our wealth as Christians.

Yeah, this is a subject that is fraught with all kinds of difficulties because it seems like

with some people they think that all the church ever talks about is money. And so they immediately

get put off when that subject comes up. And then we have to admit, too,

that there are some charlatans who, in the name of Christianity, think that godliness is a way

of gaining wealth. And so they will try to extract people from their money and health, wealth,

gospel preachers

are an abomination on the church and on the name of Christ.

And we don't want to in any way give in to what they have done or to follow in any of

their paths.

But one of the things that has happened is because there have been so many charlatans

like that, you know, the Joel Osteins of the world and others, that the text that they use

and abuse become almost off limits to some churches because they said, well, that's the passage

...
