punishment. But before we do that, we just want to talk again about the importance of confessionalism

and how confessions can really aid and help and strengthen, not just local churches,

but then also individual Christians as well.

Yeah, well, I was reminded of it again in our recent Lord's Day gathering and then in just recent weeks in the life of our own church,

in the recent sermons that we had preached Sunday morning, Sunday night on that last Sunday,

the confession of faith was cited in both sermons.

And not, you know, because we're trying to exegete the confession instead of scripture,

but because the scripture that was being preached in both of those sermons lent itself

to something that the confession said very well and summarizing a lot of biblical theological
