0:47.7	We are in the 1689 Confession, London Baptist Confession, Chapter 3 on God's Decree.
0:53.2	This is an issue that flows directly out of the previous
0:56.7	chapter on who God is, what God is, and God as triune. So this is one of my favorite chapters
1:02.0	in the whole confession. And it's also one that causes people to stumble quite a bit because
1:06.9	they look at that and they say, well, if this is like what God is, then, you know,
1:10.9	I don't want anything to do with him or we're robots. And if they read the whole chapter,
1:15.0	they'll say, no, that's not what is being said because it's very, very carefully worded, grounded
1:20.3	in scripture. And, you know, the 1689 confession is the confession of Founders Ministries.
1:27.2	That's what we all agreed to when we started
1:30.2	founders 40 plus years ago. Every one of those seven men were 1689 confessionally committed men.
1:39.2	As all Baptist should be. That should be, yeah. And, you know, we're not so exclusive that we want anything to do
1:46.1	with people that disagree with us. And I've got great friends that are not reformed Calvinistic
