we talked about chapter five of the Second London Baptist Confession on Divine Providence,

and we only got about halfway through that chapter.

And so today we're going to pick up where we left off in paragraph four on divine providence.

And specifically, we started getting into the issue of God, being sovereign. He is also not the author of

sin. Yeah. And that's a challenging thing for people to get their minds around who have been trained

to think rationally. And thinking rationally is a good thing.

Rationalism is a horrible thing because rationalism says that there's no other truth than that

which I can rationally deduce.

And yet there is truth that has been revealed.

And we live in God's world who has revealed himself to us.

And so I think in terms of rationality, irrationality, supranality. And the providence of God

is a doctrine that has been supranally revealed. And so we submit ourselves to it. We believe it.
