talk with you a little bit about the confession in chapter four on creation.

And we also want to address a couple of other issues when it comes to perhaps the interpretation

of scripture and the right use of scripture when it comes to how we live our lives

and how we practice church and ecclesiology together.

So Graham, give me chapter and verse on why we should use confessions. Deuteronomy six. Okay, why don't we just use Deuteronomy six then? Yeah, no, that's true.

But I think that the scriptures give us that pattern of, and the word patterns. The word pattern

is used by Paul himself, the pattern of teaching that you've received from us.

We see confessions all throughout scripture.

So I think that there's good and necessary consequence to use the language of our Presbyterian brothers in the scriptures, which can help us then when we use the light of nature and reason and prudence.

See, yeah, confessions are good and helpful thing.

And being confessional, which we are, helps us to think about not just the Bible, but

And it's not that the confession is inspired or it's not that it's infallible.
